An Introduction to B.Hai

We all want more sleep and we want better sleep. If you're watching this video you probably already know that when you get enough good sleep, your life is better, you feel happier, your mind is more clear, work is more enjoyable. You feel you're a better friend, spouse, and parent. Sleep health is a state of well-being that anyone can reach by investing in your sleep.

Hi, I'm Dr. Carol and I want to help you become a true good sleeper. Sleep health is about a lot more than treating sleep disorders. Those can be serious concerns too. As a board-certified sleep physician, I spend a lot of my time helping patients manage their sleep disorders, but I've discovered in my many years of practicing sleep medicine that there's a lot more to it.

A lot of women who don't have a sleep disorder need help getting good sleep. I know that when I'm well rested, I'm a better mother, wife, friend, and doctor. I created B.Hai Sleep Health because I'm passionate about helping women live better lives, by achieving better sleep health.

I have a twin sister and the best thing about being a twin is that I always have someone there for me to share my life journey. I've been lucky to share that connection with girlfriends and many of my female patients. My hope for B.Hai is for it to be a place where women can connect on their sleep journey and inform, inspire, and empower each other to sleep better and live fuller.

Most sleep science today is based on men's bodies. For decades, science has looked at the female body as a smaller version of a man, but we know that's not true. Our bodies work differently and over time our changing bodies and menstrual cycles, pregnancy, menopause mean our patterns can change too. We need unique sleep treatments made specifically for our bodies.

I named this community for my daughter, Bee Hai, which is her Chinese name. To represent our next generation of women. Women are the backbone of our society and when we take care of ourselves, starting with sleep, all of society benefits. Today and every day after.

I want to help you get better sleep. Please, get in touch and join our growing community of women empowering themselves and each other with better sleep.
